Actually write in blog that was started in 2008.

(This is going to make my roommate so happy!  Since this was her idea in the first place)

Hello everyone!

Right now I am on winter break from college, which basically means that I get to hang out with my high school friends, watch an insane number of movies, get 9+ hours of sleep per night, and be lazy to my heart's content for three weeks. So far it's been pure bliss, and now I'm down to only one week. 

I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my computer (which is my baby... well I guess my phone is too), and one of my favorite things to do is search the web for intriguing, beautiful, weird, incredible photographs and images. As a graphic design major, I've been trained to "notice" things, and it's become one of my favorite things to do.  So I'm going to use this blog as somewhat of a visual blog of inspiration. 

Or just a place to post funny videos... or post some shoes I really really want but can't afford (I'm kind of a clothes horse/have a shopping problem). 

So I'm going to start this blog off right...and start with the "fotos of the day".

 (Oh, another thing... I may use a few random German words instead of English words throughout... or might even have whole posts in German.  I'll try to provide translations when possible, but almost a decade of studying German means I no longer speak English or German, rather I tend to speak Germish.)

if I ever go through with actually getting a tattoo.. it's going to look like this.

I have a slight obsession with anything and everything having to do with the circus...  Especially the creepy, desolate looking carni ones (to clarify, I don't like actually going to these kind of circus/carnivals, but they're beautiful and are amazing places to stage photo sessions

I also have an obsession with elephants :)

I think they're cute

I remember spending hours laying in the grass looking at the clouds in search of recognizable objects... but never did I find one that looked like this.

And now just for fun, one of my favorite youtube videos of all time... this never fails to make me laugh.

Okay that's it for my first official post.  YES, I feel so accomplished!
